  • How do you get our photos?
The easiest way to send your photos is by burning them on a CD. If it is just a few at a time then they can be sent my email. If your photos are not digital then they can be scanned into digital format for an additional charge. Photos that require editing will also require an additional charge. You will receive a custom quote based on the number of printed photos you need scanned. Back to the top
  • How does the online RSVP work?
The online RSVP is one of the greatest advantages, both to you and your guests. There will be a simple form on your web site where guests enter their name, whether or not they will be attending, and how many will be attending. Every time a guest RSVPs you will receive an email letting you know. Your web site will also add up the number of attendees for you, and you will have access to view those statistics. Back to the top
  • How will guests know about our website?
There are several ways to advertise your web site. Word-of-mouth is one way, of course, but that will only get you so far. It is recommended that you include your web site on “Save the Date” cards and on the invitations that you send out. You can even opt-out of sending RSVP cards and return envelopes altogether. Your guests will love how easy it is to RSVP online. Back to the top
  • How do the online registries work?
There will be a Registry page on your site linking your guests to the online registries for the major stores that have them. Crate & Barrel, Dillard’s, Bed Bath and Beyond, Linens n’ Things, Target and The Home Depot are some of the stores that put your registry online. Your web site will link directly to your registry page for your chosen stores. Back to the top
  • Can our names be the website address?

In the unlikely even that your requested domain name is taken, we can look at other possiblities, including a .NET or .INFO domain instead. Back to the top

Visual effects are an optional feature that adds creativity to the video. Portions of the video can be changed to black and white or sepia tone to give it the feel of an old movie. • How much video can fit on a DVD?
The general answer to this question is 1-2 hours of video, but that obviously isn't very specific. The time range is so wide because of variables such as video quality and the amount of audio recorded. If your project requires that a specific amount of video fit on one DVD, then modifications can be made, if necessary, to make that possible. In order to fit more than 2 hours of video into 1 DVD, a Double Layer DVD is required and it involves an extra cost. Back to the top
  • How is the video divided into chapters?
Chapters are usually created on the basis of gaps in the filming. In other words, a single chapter would be from the time you push Record to the time you push Stop on the video camera. The video can be divided up in other ways as well. However it is done, it is usually in a logical way to create a good flow to the scenes. Back to the top

  • Can I scan the printed photos myself?
Yes, scanning printed photos yourself will reduce the price of your project. Working with printed photos involves two steps: scanning and editing. By scanning photos yourself, you've basically completed half the work, and so the price per photo is reduced by about half to around $1.50 per photo. Editing involves cropping, rotating, light and color adjustments as needed. Creases, spots and other types of damage will appear in a scan, and photos with these types of damage can be digitally restored for an additional fee. Back to the top
  • Will the DVD play on any DVD player?

Any recent DVD player should be compatible, while most older ones will be as well. If you are concerned about compatibility, contact DigitaLife Designs with the brand and model of your DVD player.
